France is all about Paris, a city of art, history and fashion. But the French countryside has its own charm. AXA Insurance, wanted a unique place to have its annual incentive trip for their Brokers network, not another European big city, but a place, where people would be able to enjoy nature, a place ideal for a summer escape, where there would be lots of activities for the 34 guests; #EZGReece according to the needs of the client, suggested Bordeaux; as French say, Bordeaux is the secret gem of France, a mini Parisian paradise!
Bordeaux might be famous as a wine region, but for sure there are much more than wine to see, taste and feel. With Aegean airlines, Bordeaux is closer to Athens than ever; in three hours the #EZTeam and the team of AXA were enjoying a tasty ile flottante at Chez Baud et Millet restaurant. Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux, set in the heart of the city, was the perfect place to be our home for the five days of the trip.
A trip in the home of some of the world’s best wines, wouldn’t be complete without a visit to AXA Millesimes, for some fine wine tasting. The highlight of this French trip was the experience of ‘Pinasses’, we boarded on the traditional long and narrow wooden boats at the Bay of Arcachon and we sailed way.
