In this fun, high-adrenaline, team event, the goal is to construct
and race with man-powered Go-karts.
In this fun, high-adrenaline, team event, the goal is to construct and race with man-powered Go-karts. Each team is provided with all the gear and directions needed in order to design their own kart. “Crew members” must work together in their various roles if they are to race their way first to the Finish line. Each team, in addition to axles, wheels, lumber and tools, will be provided with an instruction manual which must be followed ensuring design integrity as well as safety.
The Go-kart Challenge promotes collaboration to achieve the common goal. This program is designed to encourage team values such as planning, creativity, communication, delegation, respect for roles and norms, cohesion, functionality, interdependence and goal-orientation. To better prepare their chosen driver for final competition, crew members will create and perform their very own “Test race”. Once the cars pass the safety inspection the race is on! Drivers compete in heats, in order to gain the decisive points needed to put them in the winner’s final round for a chance of winning the Trophy!

A day's meeting followed by a team activity event for 125 executives of Minerva held in the Indoor Sports’ facility of DAIS. Alongside the slogan “Let our business fly” all participants attended a meeting in the amphitheater of DAIS venue. To their surprise, at the end of the meeting, the stage opened to reveal the “Eagles Pioneers Team Activity” at the indoor basketball court of DAIS. The audience was invited by our "EY ZHN Greece" facilitator to a “Go-Kart challenge” designed especially for them! Following the Awards’ Ceremony our lead facilitator provided an activity debrief at the amphitheater!
